We understand that before you commit to buying one of the WIX Builders products, you might have a few questions about our services. Below, we collected some of the most frequently asked ones we receive from the clients on a daily basis,  and our answers to them.

  • What makes a great website?
    A great website is more than just a pretty design. Major search engines such as Google and Bing require great copy, page titles and meta descriptions in the back-end to allow users to find your site, alternative-text for images included on a website, keyword rich content, mobile friendly design and many more requirements.   • What do I get with my website?
    WIX Builders will create a website designed and written specifically for your business. We will apply the latest industry standards for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), mobile-friendliness, load speed, and keyword-rich content. You get a complimentary Google My Business listing. You will also have a professional team at your disposal to make updates and changes during your subscription period.

  • Why is support important?
    Support ensures you always have a professional experienced team at your disposal to make updates, answer questions, and make suggestions on how to improve your site visitor’s experience.
  • What is a Wix Business Unlimited plan?
    Wix’s Premium Plans give you various benefits (no Wix-branded ads, personal domain and hosting, and more). A Business Unlimited plan is included with every website order.
  • Placing an order
    There are two ways you can order a website from us. You can schedule a call back with our sales representative, who will guide you through the process (and also answer any questions you might have). Alternatively, you can order it directly from our website: go to Website Packages, select the package that suits your needs best and follow the instructions on the screen.
  • Making a payment
    We have a secure payment gateway to allow you to make a payment online. We use Stripe, a leading platform for processing online payments in a secure and convenient way. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments from customers worldwide.
  • Providing requirements
    As part of our service to you, one of our experienced professional Digital Experts will contact you to gather your requirements to build your new website. During the Consultation Call, we will discuss the site structure, your specific content needs, and provide you with an easy-to-use online link to upload, images, your logo, or other assets to include in your new website.
  • Delivery process
    Once our experienced production team has completed the build, we will have a scheduled GoLive call with you to review your website before your new site is published.
  • Will I see the website before it’s published?
    Yes, we will schedule a call with you to review your website in real time via screen sharing. During our GoLive call, minor changes may be completed during the call. If your request cannot be completed during the GoLive call, we will submit your request to the design team to complete before publication.
  • Can I ask to make changes to the website before it’s published?
    Yes, of course. We allow for one round of changes prior to publication of your new website. Our monthly maintenance subscription allows you to make on-going changes to your website by our experienced design team.
  • Can I make changes myself?
    Yes, you may make changes to your WIX Builders site. The WIX platform has a full tutorial here: https://support.wix.com/en/the-wix-editor/editor-basics
  • Can I ask you to make changes?
    Requesting changes and updates to your WIX BUilders site is part of your monthly subscription fee. Please contact our support team via email, support@wixbuilders.com, or on +44 800 088 5624.
  • What is included in the monthly subscription fee?
    Included are changes to images, copy, updates to phone numbers or addresses or support on how to make changes yourself. More complex changes can be requested for an affordable hourly fee. Fees are quoted prior to beginning the work.
  • Accessing the website and permissions
    You will be granted access to the website once it is live.
  • Changing the copy
    The copy on your website can be changed at any time. You can update this yourself or request that the WIX Builder support team do this for you.   • Changing images
    The images on your website can be changed at any time. You can update this yourself or request that the WIX Builder support team do this for you.   • Changing general information (business hours etc.)

  • Can I add more pages to my website?
    You can add additional pages to your website after the site is live. We suggest you contact the WIX Builders support team for information. If we create the page for you, we will have our experienced team write the copy and design the new page so that it matches the look and feel of the existing pages.   • Available add-ons

  • Can you help me add products to my store?

  • What is Google My Business (GMB)
    Google My Business is an online business listing that helps businesses increase and take control of their online presence across Google, including Google’s Search Engine and Google Maps. Users that search directly for your business name, or for products and services you offer in your location on Google are likely to find your Google My Business listing. Users on mobiles can directly call your business from the listing and also click for directions on the listing. Users can also leave reviews of your business on your GMB listing.
  • Importance of having an up-to-date GMB listings
    Google is by far the world's most popular search engine with over 90% of users using Google to search for businesses, products, services and information. Having a verified Google my Business listing on Google helps increase a business’ presence on the search engine, opening up more opportunities for businesses to be found on Google and Google maps. Over 75% of users that search for a local service or product on Google are looking for a business. Google my Business puts the information of businesses right in front of the users as the first listing a user sees in the organic search on Google.
  • Verification process
    WIX Builders will setup and publish the GMB listing and make the business owner the manager of the listing so the manager has full access and control of their GMB listing. WIX Builders will also populate the listing with the most relevant information to the business during the setup process. Once this is done Google will either send the business a Postcard, an SMS or an email with a 5 digit code. On receiving the code the business owner can then log into https://www.google.com/business/ and enter the code in. Once this is done the GMB listing is verified. Verified listings have a better chance of showing and ranking higher on Google.
  • Making changes to the listing
    Using the email address the business manager shares with WIX Builders the manager can log into the GMB listing. Once logged in the manager can change the most important business details such as; the business address, phone number, payment types accepted, email address etc.
  • Stripe
    We use Stripe, a leading platform for processing online payments in a secure and convenient way. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments from customers worldwide.
  • Invoices
    All amounts invoiced are due and payable immediately, unless otherwise provided in the Order Form. You are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing and contact information to us and for notifying us of any changes to such information. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.
  • Monthly payments
    Unless otherwise provided in the applicable order form: The subscription fee is payable monthly in advance and will remain fixed during the term of the applicable Subscription Period The subscription fee is non-cancellable during the term of the Subscription Period and is non-refundable. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.
  • Updating payment details
    Please contact our support team on +44 800 088 5624 and we will help you update your details.
  • Missed payments
    If you do not pay the invoice by the due date, then without limiting our rights or remedies under the Agreement (a) those overdue charges may accrue interest at a rate of 2% of the outstanding balance per month, or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower, (b) we may suspend or terminate the current Subscription Period and the provisioning of all aspects of the Services, and/or (c) we may alter your payment terms on future purchases.   • Can I get a refund?
    Once the 14 day cooling off period has expired, refunds are not allowed. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.
  • Can I cancel?
    If you wish to cancel once the cooling off period expires, please contact our support team via email, support@wixbuilders.com, or on +44 800 088 5624. Please note that the subscription cannot be cancelled early. Once you notify us that you wish to terminate the agreement, we will ensure that the subscription does not auto-renew. You will, however, be charged for the remaining period of your subscription. You can choose whether your website stays up as is, stays up but without being indexed by the search engines, or is taken down for the remainder of your subscription.   • What happens to my website after the cancellation?
    Once you cancel and the subscription period expires, the website will be taken down. We will transfer your domain to you. Within 30 days, you can request your data to be extracted and provided to you, including content written for your website. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.
  • What happens to my GMB listing after the cancellation?
    You get to keep your Google My Business listing.
  • What happens to the Wix Premium Plan after the cancellation?
    We remove the licence from your website after the cancellation. WIX Builders own the licence.
  • Can I restore my subscription and a website after a cancellation?
    It might be possible within 30 days of your subscription expiration date. Please contact the customer support line on +44 800 088 5624 to discuss this.
  • Will I receive an invoice from WIX Builders stating my VAT number?
    Yes, if you are a VAT-registered entity and if you communicate your VAT number to your digital expert at the time of purchase.
  • Can I use my online invoices for VAT purposes?
    Yes
  • Are Digital Services taxable in general?
    Yes
